The Curse of the Blogging Classes

It’s always the way, isn’t it? You start a blog to illustrate all the ways that you get distracted from writing, all the time that you spend doing other things when you really want to be writing and/or publicising your writing, and you end up getting no time to blog due to work commitments, hockey commitments, tennis, cinema, coffee and cake, refurnishing an apartment, and choosing a kitchen, to say nothing of the fact that you still have no desk or table on which to write.  But now, it’s October, most definitely autumnal, so it’s time to find the time (and place) to get back to blogging, and writing, and blogging about writing, and writing about blogging…etcetera etcetera…
